Situated within the 500 hectare "Ilanga Nature and Game reserve", with over 100 different species of indigeneous bush and breeding herds of non aggresive game peacefully roam the reserve.
The resort is situated close to some of the jewels of creation such as God`s Window, The Blyde River Canyon and many other glorius scenic havens. The world famous Kruger National Park is also only 15 minutes away.
The hotel is made up of Casa`s, Villa`s, Twin and Double Suites and one "Casa Grande". All rooms have bathrooms en-suite. The Casa`s lead out to the gardens or terraces overlooking the valley. The Twin and Double Suites each have entrance halls, spacious sitting rooms, luxury bathrooms with separate showers and toilets. In addition, the upstairs double suites have a privte patio which also overlooks the valley.
The crystal waters of two swimming pools are surrounded by luscious tropical gardens which have won awards for their vibrant colours and serene beauty - an environment sure to lull you into a state of gentle euphoria!
Activities on the reserve include site hiking trails,tennis courts and simming pools as well as water actvities on Casa De Sol`s Dam and numerous adventure adventure activities close by. There are also 5 golf courses within close proximity of the hotel, as well as the Elephant Sanctuay next door and Shangaan Cultural Village is only a short drive away.
The Restaurants, Cozinha Velha restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. O Estabulo a la Carte and private dining restaurant operates seasonally and for private functions. There is the Chiquas bar and two designated braai areas, one being a Quincho (spanish equivalent to lapa) as well as a traditional South African Boma.
Take a walk down to the estate`s dam and enjoy a glass of wine and a delicious picnic basket with home made pate`s , crusty French bread, crisp salads and superb cheeses whilst absorbing the spectacular surrounding bird life and relaxing atmosphere.
For the relaxation of body and soul The " Spa de Sole" provides a full range of health and beauty therapy. Treatments range from soothing massages to hand and foot care, or indulge in facial treatment which is guaranteed to renew and revitalize the skin. Various forms of massages and body wraps are offered by highly professional therapists.
Conferencing and Banquets are meticulously handled at Casa do Sol, catering for all your specific requirements. The Nhlangano - The Meeting Place,is the brand new conference facility seating up to 260 delegates with fully equiped and advanced multi media technology, this convention centre is the most sophisticated in the Hazyview circuit. Child Policy: No age restriction. One or two children U/12 sharing with 2 adults in the Twin/Double Suite only. Rate of R400 per child on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis per night applies. 3rd adult sharing in the Twin/Double Suite only pay R450 per night on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. Where a child shares with 1 adult the double rate applies. Children staying on their own in a room will pay the prevailing single or double rate. For infants (less than 3 years) a cot is available on request and by prior arrangement at no extra charge.
