Long Lee Manor, originally built in 1910, offers a distinctive Colonial experience. This splendidly restored Edwardian Manor House offers guests refined comfort, congenial service and enticing cuisine in the African bush. Long Lee Manor is a reminder of an era of gracious living - positioned as the flagship of Shamwari - it overlooks the sweeping plains leading down to the Bushmans River. The river lapa is an outdoor option for meals and the cooking sumptuous.
Deliciously prepared meals are enjoyed in the main dining room or around the open fire at the Barn. In-between game drives guests can laze around one of the two pools, relax in the beautifully appointed garden lounge, or experience a rejuvenating treatment in our onsite spa. A five star property - this superb game lodge set in the Eastern Cape of South Africa boasts an appeal specifically to those interested in experiencing the colonnial luxury of the African Safari, with a variety of accommodation options to choose from.
Long Lee Manor accommodates 38 guests in elegant en-suite rooms, all with air-conditioning and heating, as well as family suites for the children. Of the 13 luxury rooms, 4 of these rooms are inter leading and the option of a family suite for those with children. There is also the honeymoon suite for that unforgetable African Honeymoon. All rooms boast ceiling fans and air-conditioning with both hot and cold settings for the perfect room temperature. Other facilities include Satellite T.V in all rooms, International direct dial in all rooms as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Two swimming pools and perimeter electric fencing make this a Child-friendly lodge.

- Bushmans River Lodge is a unique historical site with its 4 suites decorated in an artistic African theme.
- Riverdene Lodge is a restored settler`s lodge with 9 suites, all en-suite with air-conditioning, Satellite TV, telephone and small lounge area.
- The ethnically decorated Lobengula Lodge with its thatched roofs is tucked deep in the valley bushveld. It offers 12 guests a tranquil, luxurious and exclusive getaway as well as a wellness centre.
- Bayethe Tented Camp is a 5-star, luxury lodge comprising of 9-tented suites.

All rates are quoted per person sharing per night. Single supplement is 50% surcharge.
Child rates are applicable whether children share a room with adults or not inclusive of meals, non alcoholic beverages, activities (age dependant) and the “Kids on Safari” program.
0 – 3 Year old are accommodated at no additional cost. May share with adults, depending on the vailability of cots and/or rooms with a sleeper couch. Are not permitted on game drives.
4 – 11 Year old are accommodated at 50% (half) of the adult sharing rate. May share with adults, depending on the availability of rooms with a sleeper couch are permitted on game drives.
